Our brief was to design a stepped extension for a large new-build developer house, enhancing the connection to the garden. The extension was carefully crafted to maintain natural light and preserve views, featuring a series of stepped indoor and semi-covered outdoor spaces leading to a new swimming pool.
The project included modern landscaping, a newly designed kitchen, a family room, and an outdoor kitchen, all aimed at improving functionality and creating seamless indoor-outdoor living.
Careful use of timber slats has created dramatic shadows that are cast on the living area which move throught the day to animate the space. Internally the use of high level fanlights enable plenty of natural light from deep within the spaces.
