Our new build mews development replaces the original dwelling with a new 4 storey family residence. The understated façade hides the expansive home which reveals itself as you progress through the house.
Our design principles were to introduce external terraces to all the main floors at the back and a central feature open tread stair to act as the spine of the house. This enabled all the floors to get natural light and create a sense of openness often devoid in London Mews houses.
The house is split into formal and informal and entertaining spaces and private spaces with the central stair core acting as the dividing zone both vertically and horizontally. Features include full marble bathrooms, feature lighting and use of natural finishes throughout. The introduction of walk over glass and a green wall enables glimpses of nature from all the principle entertainment spaces.
Our favourite feature is the grand reveal from the moment you open the understated front door to the sight of the open tread stair and rear terraces over 3 floors.
