Concept Eight are an established design led architecture and interior design practice dedicated to the creation of imaginative residential buildings. We take a creative and tailor-made approach to all our projects resulting in a home as unique as your family.
Concept Eight Architects was formed in 2006 as an RIBA chartered practice. We cover the full spectrum of residential architecture, and focus only in this sector. Our projects are mainly located in London and the Southern England and our projects typically have a construction value of upwards of £500k. We do, however, take on smaller sized projects from time to time where clients are keen on a design led solution. We aim to only take on projects where we can add value to the process and that require a well-considered design focus or strategy.
Our studio environment ensures that designs are thoroughly critiqued and all possibilities are explored to ensure you get the optimal solution to your needs whilst balancing brief, site constraints and budget. Having completed many hundreds of projects, our processes are tried and tested to ensure you get the most out of our services which will result in a successful design. We believe in order to achieve quality architecture; design must be at the forefront of every stage of a project from concept to competition. Our dedicated and experienced team enjoy the challenge of creativity, individuality and technical detailing and love to see their designs come to life throughout construction.
Concept Eight Design offer a complete interior design solution, creating exquisite spaces. The studio is directed by the inspirational vision of Marie Coomber, who brings a wealth of experience and pragmatic approach to space making. Established over 7 years ago to cater to clients wishing to focus on interiors, we source from a wide network of suppliers and artists, both internationally and locally. We are committed to working closely with clients to create bespoke uplifting spaces, unique to each individuals needs and aspirations. Our friendly interior designers work in an open plan studio, and are supported by Architects and technologists, ensuring a seamless process from concept to completion. Our ethos is to deliver beautiful spaces which enhance quality of life and that set the tone for creating wonderful memories enjoyed within a home.
We also offer a turnkey package where we look after and manage the complete process from inception to completion, selecting all other professionals, contractors and suppliers to deliver a completed home. This can often suit clients who are time poor and are keen to live in a tailor-made home. This package streamlines the communication and can speed up the overall process. Having accumulated a wealth of contacts in the industry with close to a decade and a half in the sector, we have built up strong relationships with all the necessary suppliers, contractors and professionals to ensure we bring the very best skills and products at a fair price to your project. Our approach to turnkey is slightly different to most in that we focus on ensuring the architecture and finishes are at the core of the process and we aim to deliver distinctive homes that truly reflect their owners rather than a standard developer stock house.
Our work has featured in national and international press, digital publications and recognised by several awards bodies.
