After a very busy summer, we had a much deserved team social in London, along side visiting 2 of our London based projects.
The day started at Brunswick Gardens in Kensington which is a ground and lower ground floor garden apartment which has been completely renovated, and extended to connect better with the outside. The project is in the last stage which will involve fitout of the different stages. The team were particularly interested to see the open tread cantilevered stair which connects the 2 floors. Chris has been working hard over the past few months overseeing the project through to completion.
Making the most of the warm weather the team then took a stroll through Hyde Park to our next site which is a full apartment fitout at Lowndes Square. Again this is a high value interior fitout which is a few months off completion, with the spaces getting ready for fitout. The team were interested in seeing how the layout has been carefully designed to make the most of the views of London beyond. Megan and Louisa have both been working hard to oversee the project on site.
Once the project visits were complete, the team headed East to the Ned hotel for a quick drink before visiting London’s Sky Garden for elevated views of London. We had done the same trip a few years ago and with many new team members we thought it was time to go again.
After the Sky Garden, we headed to a bowling alley which pitted team CODA against team LEMuRS with Coda coming up top, Oscar ensuring his bowling skills were well executed. The team were in fine spirit with a 4 a side table football competition and then onto karaoke. The evening ended up at a Vietnamese restaurant for some interesting food and drinks.
