Greenbelt and ANOB projects

Alongside our regular projects in London as well as the commuter towns and villages, we also have undertaken numerous projects in rural settings in both the greenbelt and areas near ANOB. These areas are protected from development, so need a more structured and considered approach to successfuly develop a scheme.

We have listed out a few that we have worked on in the past or are currently working on.

Pinwheel house is a modest period house that sits on a parcel of land that juts out onto the golf course. We will be extensively redeveloping on the plot with a significantly enlarged new build house along with outbuildings, a swimming pool and new landscaped gardens. We have carefully choriographed with utilisation of PD and planning to get the maximized scheme on the plot. With a very positive pre app, we are now progressing with a detailed submission which will result in a trebling of the original house.

Orchard Road sits on an elevated plot overlooking fields as well as far reaching views onto North London as well a view of the Shard on a clear day. Consent has been granted for a significant new build contemporary house with swimming pool on the plot. We are now making a series of amendments to get the consented scheme to be developed into the best layout for the plot, with plans submitted.

The Lookout sits on a sloping site overlooking the South Coast as well as the High Weild ANOB. Our new build contemporary home is designed to be hunkered down into the site, with extensive glazing overlooking the prime views of the sea. Consent has been granted and we are now finalsing the technical design of the project.

Our project on Bagshot Road started life as a chicken shed which was replaced by a house in the 1980's. Our clients were keen to significantly enlarge the house as well as make the most of the rural views out to the rear. By using a combination of permitted development and planning we were able to significantly increase the house with planning now granted, we will be developing the technical pack.

Chalk Lane is a narrow lane in the greenbelt. Our client has lived at the house for many years and once we successfully completed a project for her daughter she asked us to assist with obtaining planning for a full remodel and extension of her house, which has previously been refuxed planning. With a combination of permitted development as well as planning, we were able to significantly increase the size of her house.

Ruxbury Road is on an elevated plot in the greenbelt. Our clients moved from central London to Surrey and wanted a 'project'. We succesfully obtained consent for a significant increase to the size and volume of the house which will be a contemporary home with a significant stepped terrace to the rear. Works are progressing well on site.

Truly Rural is a small single storey unmodernized bungalow in a large wooded site. Our client wanted to a contemporary home which made the most of the site while enlarging the house. With a combination of prior notification, permitted development and planning we undertook a series of approvals to eventually double the size of the house and change its appearence inc the introduction of flint walls, zinc roof and glazing.

Scotts Grove Road project is a chalet bungalow in the greenbelt. We remodelled and extended the property using permitted development extensions to radically enlarge the house and open it up to the garden.
